Welcome to Seppala Photography in Indianapolis, Indiana! Marty Seppala started his career in high school. Photography has always been his love and passion. A lifetime of continuing education and 30+ years of experience has enabled Marty to perfect his craft. He also worked for a photo laboratory for several years just to learn more about exposure, composition, and the process of film, chemicals, and paper. What used to be film and paper is now a vast inventory of digital cameras and editing software on the computer. Marty has always been very quality conscious, and always strives for excellence and produces high quality images for his clients. Marty has worked with the Associated Press (AP) for over twenty years… photographing Indiana Pacers, Indianapolis Colts, Indy Car Series, NASCAR, MotoGP and Formula One at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. AP has used several photos in USA Today, Sports Illustrated, Indianapolis Star, and other newspapers and magazines around the world. Marty and his wife Jeannie started wedding photography in 1985, and they have served hundreds of satisfied clients in the Indianapolis area. He also does family photography, senior portraits and commercial work. For sixteen years Marty did forensic photography for local fire departments. His photographs have been entered into evidence for arson cases and he has testified in court in those cases to affirm his photographs are true and accurate representations of fire scenes. Marty has been an instructor for the Department of Homeland Security, Indiana State Fire Marshal's Office and has served as an instructor of digital photography at Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis, IN.
